Our University is proud to be the oldest in the Republic with a large number of our graduates having taken leading roles in the successful development of Mauritius over the past 40 years.
We continue to attract students from diverse backgrounds who are united by the desire to come and learn from each other and from our outstanding faculty. Our commitment goes beyond the academic as we seek to balance learning with the social development of the mind to create a lifelong desire for learning and moral reasoning. We seek to inspire our students to do what our institution was created for, that is to enlighten and advance society as a whole, within and beyond the borders of our island.
