SANBio is pleased to announce that the above workshop will he held soon. It will cover aspects of genome sequencing projects and most importantly the applications of Next Generation Sequencing. Topics to be covered are:

• NGS platforms, mostly Illumina, 454, and SOLiD (we have those in our core lab)
• Data quality, filtering, error-correction -mapping and related analysis (SNP, indel, SV detection)
• De-novo assembly
• RNASeq (mapping and de-novo assembly, gene enrichment analysis)

• Annotation pipelines
