On February 21, the teachers of the Confucius Institute at the University of Mauritius organized a warm and engaging Chinese New Year cultural experience activity under the theme “Promoting Chinese Culture and Celebrating the Spring Festival.”
This cultural experience event enabled students to explore Spring Festival traditions through interactive activities such as calligraphy, paper-cutting, and dumpling-making. Through both cultural explanations and hands-on practice, students gained a deeper understanding of Chinese customs and values, especially the idea of reunion and good fortune.
