On March 22, the Confucius Institute at the University of Mauritius successfully conducted the first HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) of 2026, covering Levels 1 to 5. The number of candidates continues to grow, with both students and members of the public actively participating, and the exams proceeded smoothly.

The Institute made thorough preparations in advance, providing registration guidance and offering targeted revision support, including key point reviews and mock tests to help candidates prepare effectively.
On the day of the exam, all procedures—from venue setup to invigilation—were carried out in strict accordance with HSK standards, ensuring an orderly and professional testing environment.

The successful administration of the tests not only assessed learners’ progress but also demonstrated the Institute’s strong organizational capacity. The latter will continue to provide high-quality support for Chinese language learning and cultural exchange in Mauritius.
