The conference aims at promoting innovative and quality development of Chinese language education in Africa, advancing language education exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa, and investigating Chinese language education from a regional-country perspective. The International conference is held under the guidance of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China. Zhejiang Normal University hosted the “Conference on International Chinese Language Education in Africa 2022” online on December 14 as part of the “International Chinese Language Education Exchange Week 2022”.
Dr Naraindra Kistamah, Local Director of Confucius Institute at University of Mauritius was invited to give a presentation under the theme ‘Development of Chinese Language Education in Africa in a Multilingual Setting’. A copy of his presentation is available in the ‘Gallery’.
