Five students of CI-UoM have been offered ZSTU President’s Scholarships to study full-time for a Master’s Degree at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (ZSTU) for the academic period 2021-2024. The five scholars were selected by ZSTU on the basis of their academic performances at the University of Mauritius and the recommendations of the teaching staff of CI-UoM. The recommendations take into account the students’ class performance, attendance and performance in CI-UoM activities.

Due to travel restrictions, because of the global pandemic, the five PG students have registered online for their respective programmes of study.

The five CI-UoM scholars for the academic year 2020-2021 are, in random order:

• Navrasha CHAYTEE, Department of Applied Sustainability, BSc(Hons) Fashion Technology with Minor Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Engineering at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field of Fashion Engineering;

• Shelley TANG FAT SANG, Department of Management, BSc(Hons) Marketing with Digital Technologies, Faculty of Law & Management at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field Corporate Management;

• Chinapiel MAGNEE, Department of Law, Bachelor of Laws with Honours - LLB (Hons), Faculty of Law & Management at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field Business Administration.

• Jonathan LIONG WEE KWONG NEE CHUNG, Department of Management, BSc(Hons) Marketing with Digital Technologies, Faculty of Law & Management at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field Corporate Management;

• Bhaveshwaree Devi SEEWOONAUTH, Department of History and Political Science, BA(Hons) Politics, Human Rights and International relations, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field of International Trade.

• Kushika SEETAHUL, Faculty of Law & Management at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field Business Administration.

1. Bhavini BHOWANEEDIN, BA (Hons) French Studies at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field of ‘International Economics and Trade’.

2. Sanjana Vijaya CANDASSAMY, BSc (Hons) Agricultural Science and Technology at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field of ‘Botany’.

3. Julia SOOKRAM, BSc (Hons) Design and Colour Applications for Industry at UoM; to study for a Master’s Degree at ZSTU in the field of ‘Fashion Design and Engineering’.
