
What is SNEE?
An official national status, initiated by the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science & Research and delivered by UMIC, to empower UoM students with entrepreneurial ambitions.
Why Apply for SNEE?
Students selected for SNEE will benefit from:
- Official National Student Entrepreneur Status
- Mentorship from industry experts
- Hands-on workshops and entrepreneurial skills development
- Access to support, resources, and facilities
- A structured pathway toward early-stage incubation
Programme Levels
Level 1 – Ideation
For students who have an idea and want to explore its potential.
Activities include:
- Problem identification
- Market research
- Prototype design
- Feasibility analysis
You will complete this level with a validated idea ready to move into business planning.
Level 2 – Business Plan Development
For students ready to formalise their venture.
Deliverables include:
- Business model
- Value proposition
- Market and financial planning
- Operational roadmap
This level is equivalent to Phase 1 – UoMIC Pre-Incubation.
Students may progress from Level 1 to Level 2, or apply directly to Level 2 if they already have a clear and feasible concept.
Who Can Apply?
- All undergraduate and postgraduate students at UoM
- Individuals or teams (up to 5 members)
- Students from any faculty, centre or discipline
